This 1980's kitchen was totally transformed by removing the outdated brass decorative plates around the handles and hand painting in an elegant white lead. The old handles were replaced with an antique brass finish bar. Take a look at our gallery or on our Facebook page for before and after images. Our client kindly commented;
"Thank you for doing such a great job, Mel and Steve, the kitchen has been transformed"
Our client wanted to refresh their dark aged oak kitchen into a brighter space, without losing the original layout. We worked to transform the cabinetry with Little Greene's Bone China Blue (mid), and used new satin chrome hardware from our esteemed ironmonger partners, slingers 1858.
Whilst renovating a beautiful property in Manorbier, my client wanted to add a boot room. After researching the cost of a new custom build freestanding storage piece of furniture, my client decided to re-purpose this large pine wardrobe. Painted perfectly coordinate with the new flooring, for a fraction of the price of a new piece of furniture which is strongly our ethos for sustainability, where possible! We added new beehive antique brass finish Heritage Brass handles, supplied by Slingers.
During the Manorbier renovation project we also repaired and restored this large scale dresser! Free standing pieces are defiantly trending for 2023, where you can add your unique colour palate, with a bespoke hand painted piece of furniture for you kitchen. We advised on the kitchen decor on this project, this colour was hand selected from samples to pick out a colour in the sea on my clients favourite painting. Perfect for a coastal home. New hardware from our amazing suppliers, who provided several samples to choose from!
